Who are you?

I’m Salla, our Senior Business Manager  looking after our lovely clients and leading our gaming-focused business unit. I started at BOND as a studio intern in 2020. My six-year anniversary is this week. Before working at BOND, I studied marketing and sales, so I was thrilled to get the chance to start my career at BOND.

Best thing working at BOND is having fun while working! What we do can be serious at times, especially when helping our clients make big decisions, but there should always be room to have fun.

Favorite project so far?

Such a hard question! My favourite memories are usually connected to projects where we’ve worked as one great team, both within BOND and together with the client. I love the feeling when everyone contributes a small piece of an idea, which then sparks another idea, and another. One thing I really like about BOND is that no matter your role or position, ideas, opinions and thoughts are always welcomed and heard.Olo for Rize Properties and Merge Gardens with Futureplay are probably among my favourites, both because of the collaboration and the outcome of the work.

‍If you could master any skill, what would you choose?

It would be very cool to know how to build a cabin from scratch or have carpentry skills. Maybe I should ask our spatial team for some help... they have quite a lot of experience with that, haha.

If you were a font, which font would you be?

Ohhhh, I don’t know... Maybe a custom font we’ve created for a client that is yet to be launched.

A current hot take?

The hardest part of creative work isn’t coming up with ideas. It’s knowing what to leave out.

Hobbies?

I rediscovered my love for hobbies a couple of years ago. For me, hobbies are a great excuse to do something that’s good for me, but also a reason to see friends. I’ve also realised that having some routines works really well for me.

Some of my more recent (and not all very serious) hobbies include tennis, bouldering, local pub quiz, cocktail club, geocaching, New York Times games and biking.
